There's been a break in the murder of two women found stabbed to death in their Northeast Baltimore home. Police have arrested 21 year old Mark Floyd in connection with murdering the lesbian couple.

Charging document show Floyd admitted to police he was alone with Lydia Steed and Allisha Royster the night they were last seen alive. He's accused of murdering the lesbian couple in their home on Biddison Lane more than a week ago.

Neighbors discovered their decomposing bodies days later. The women had been stabbed multiple times in the back of their heads.

Charging documents reveal Floyd knew the victims and had threatened them months ago. The couple feared Floyd enough to ban him from their home.

Neighbors are relieved to hear about the arrest. The violent crime put many in this quiet community on edge. Neighbor Julie Dopkowski says, ''I'm so glad to hear of an arrest. I really am because it was making us a little worried around here, just anybody coming into your house.''

Officer Troy Harris with the Baltimore Police Department says, ''It wasn't a random act of violence but he did have some type of relationship with the victims.''

Police have not released a motive, but ABC2 has learned the suspect was dating a stripper who recently moved in with the lesbian couple. Neighbors say the stripper was kicked out a few weeks ago after an argument.

According to charging documents, days after the couple was murdered, Floyd visited ''The Block'' in Baltimore where several strip clubs are located. He told a witness ''They're gone.''

Police say they were able to link Floyd to the crime after he pawned a laptop that was stolen from the couple's home. He pawned it at a shop on East Monument Street. Records show Floyd had used the pawn shop in the past.

Floyd has a lengthy criminal record involving burglary and assault charges.

He's being held without bond at Central Booking. A bail review is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
